41. Meet the Fockers

A hilarious depiction of what happens when you finally bring your two families together, this movie will probably make you feel better about your own in-laws. That is, unless, of course, they too are the type to conduct a background search or inject you with truth serum. More »

42. You, Me, and Dupree

Friends can get in the way of marriages, especially when they're single and move in with you. This flick drives home the point that married couples just can't have roommates. It causes all sorts of problems. Still, Matt Dillon, Kate Hudson, and Owen Wilson are the best teachers of this lesson. More »

43. Why Did I Get Married

Tyler Perry adapted his stage play about the trials of marriage for the big screen and the result is nothing short of spectacular. Every couple in America should watch this movie because it forces you to recognize the parts of marriage no one really wants to talk about when you're planning a wedding - what will happen if tragedy strikes and you lose a child, how will you handle a sexy young thing tempting your man, how will you and your spouse treat each other and what will you tolerate, etc. etc. etc. More »

44. Marley and Me

A true story based on the newspaper columns and book of the same name by John Grogan, this movie revolves around the wild antics of a family dog, Marley. The pup comes along as the couple begins their marriage and teaches them and their budding family all sorts of life lessons. It's touching and you'll be feeling warm and fuzzy after viewing it, but you will cry. If you have a soul, you will cry. More »

45. Monster-in-Law

Jane Fonda plays the crazy mother-in-law, who doesn't want to give up her son, and Jennifer Lopez, the bride to be, has to decide whether she's in love enough to put up with such a MIL. You'll be laughing out loud at their one-upmanship - or crying if it hits too close to home.  More »

46. A Star Is Born

Judy Garland is the star of this one, and her character finds fame, thanks to an aging alcoholic actor, whose own career has taken a turn for the worse.

47. This Is 40

Although this one isn't one of my favorites, it does reveal some truths about the mid-life crisis and its affect on a marriage. For that, it's worth viewing at least once. It picks up where Knocked Up left off and features two of that film's side characters, Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie (Leslie Mann). There's a good mix of laughs and tears in this one, which will have you reconsidering the direction of your life and marriage.

48. Baby Mama

One single woman's desire for a baby (Tina Fey) and another's need for money (Amy Poehler) bring them together in this hilarious comedy. Both of them reconsider love and life and consider turning around their lives for the better. More »

49. Reality Bites

Children of the 1990s will appreciate this flick about how Generation X fared after college. Winona Ryder's character, a filmmaker, looks for work and love in Houston. But her soulmate, played by Ethan Hawke, was right there the whole time. Ben Stiller's character gets in the way for a little bit, which makes for more angst and more satisfaction when the right couple finally gets together.

50. Change-Up

Friends Mitch and Dave couldn't be more different. Dave is married with kids, and Mitch is living the single life to its fullest. They pee in a fountain when lightning strikes and they switch bodies and lives. It's a chance for both guys to really see if the grass is greener elsewhere and to appreciate what's really important. The bathroom humor throughout will keep your hubby interested.
