Many of us, especially men think that marriage counseling is a joke.
This is not saying that women do not feel the same.
It's only that when it comes time for counseling you will find that the lady is the one who is asserting herself more than the man.
Maybe it is because they feel like no one else is expected to tell them how to run the marriage or is it because they are insecure and do not want a third person to know their feelings.
Whatever the case we must learn how to listen, talk and express ourselves as well as be more understanding to others.

This applies even if you think you do not need them.

Attending this counseling classes doesn't make you a sissy if that is what you think or does mean your marriage isn't working.
It just shows that you are willing to go to any length to keep the marriage working and stable.
