What Makes a Happy Couple

A solid happy relationship isn't very common when you look around you at all the people who seem to argue often or live separate lives from each other, in fact it can be easy to assume being happy in love can be impossible. The good news is that it isn't.

You should take the time to appreciate the small things in life with your significant other, don't worry if it seems cliched, the important thing is to have memories of good times together. Work in the garden together, plan short vacations, or arrange dates to keep your relationship fresh.

Be passionate in your life, not just in your hobbies, but in your relationships as well, statistics prove couples who really want to be with each other will also be more passionate about spending time together, whereas unhappy couples often find excuses to be apart.

Remember to have a conversation with your partner every day, that doesn't mean saying good morning over breakfast, it means actually asking them how they are, what they're going to do for the day, or at the end of the day, how their day was. Happy couples talk to each other because we all like to feel important, and our partner should be the one person who knows us the best.

Couples that are happy together don't tend to notice the things they don't have, instead they work together to make sure household expenses are paid, and they plan together for a better future. Talking couples share their goals and dreams, and figure out ways to make them happen.

Lastly, appreciate the life you have, many people in the world have nothing but still manage to laugh and raise a family together, you can too. Each of us fall in love for a reason, there is something special about our partner that completes us, so take a moment to remind your partner of this and be thankful you have each other.
