How to Configure VoIP Ports on 2Wire

    • 1). Click your web browser's address bar, type "http://gateway.2wire.net" and press "Enter."

    • 2). Click "Firewall" on the router's configuration page.

    • 3). Click "Firewall Settings."

    • 4). Click "Add a New User-Defined Application" in the Application panel.

    • 5). Type the VoIP program's name into the "Application Name" box.

    • 6). Click "TCP" or "UDP," depending on which type of port your VoIP program needs. If it needs both TCP and UDP, create an additional rule for the other type of port after.

    • 7). Type the port or port range the VoIP program requires into the "Port (or Range)" box in the format "1500" or "1500-1600." Consult your VoIP program's documentation for the ports it requires.

    • 8). Click "Add Definition" and "Done."
