How to Sync a CD to an iPod

    • 1). Open iTunes and plug your iPod into your computer with its USB cable.

    • 2). Insert the desired audio CD into your computer's CD drive. An iTunes dialogue window will appear asking if you would like to import the CD.

    • 3). Choose to either import the entire CD by clicking "Yes" or only selected songs by choosing "No." If you choose the latter, place check marks next to the songs you want to import and then click "Import CD" in the lower right-hand corner.

    • 4). Wait for the import process to complete. This should only take a few minutes.

    • 5). Click the name of your iPod underneath "Devices" on the left-hand source panel.

    • 6). Select the "Music" tab and then choose to "Sync music." If you want to sync the entire music library, click "Apply." If you want to sync the CD only, put your iPod in manual mode by clicking the "Summary" tab and selecting "Manually manage music and videos."

    • 7). Open your iTunes music library from the source pane. Drag each song from the CD to your iPod's icon in the source panel.
