How to Change the Email Addresses in an Apple iPod Touch

    Delete Email Accounts

    • 1). Tap the "Settings" icon on the iPod Touch home screen.

    • 2). Select the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" tab from the settings menu. The new page loads displaying the device's mail, contacts and calendar information.

    • 3). Locate the "Accounts" section at the top of the page. Select an email address you want to remove from the device. A new screen loads.

    • 4). Tap the "Delete Account" button at the bottom of the new page. Tap the "Delete Account" button again when the confirmation prompt appears. The email is deleted from the device.

    Add Email Accounts

    • 1). Select the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" tab from the main settings menu.

    • 2). Tap the "Add Account" button of the "Accounts" section in the page that loads. A screen appears displaying a list of email service options. Some options include "Gmail," "Yahoo!" and "Aol." Select an email service from the list. A form loads to the screen.

    • 3). Select the "Other" option if your email service is not listed on the email service options page. Then tap "Add Mail Account" button. A form loads to the screen.

    • 4). Fill out the form with the information requested. Fields include "Name," "Address" and "Password."

    • 5). Tap the "Save" button to save the account to the device.
