How to Share a Drive on XP Home
- 1). Open "My Computer," and locate the drive you want to share.
- 2). Right-click the drive to share, and select "Sharing and Security."
- 3). Click "If you understand the risk but still want to share the root of the drive, click here" under the sharing tab.
- 4). Click on "Share this folder on the network," and type in a share name.
- 5). Click "Allow network users to change my files" if you want to allow computers on the network to add to, delete or edit your files.
- 6). Click "Apply" and "OK" to complete the process.
