Destroying Industry and Claiming Everything a Human Right - The ALBA Nightmare is Coming
Looks like Hugo Chavez and all the other nations that seem to follow his lead in Latin America have announced their plans to nationalize the telecommunication services and companies in Central and South America.
We all know what will happen if they continue to do this.
The phone systems will fail due to lack of maintenance and no one will have a telephone or cell phone at all, that's typically what happens when socialist regimes begin seizing and nationalizing companies.
Interestingly enough, Cuba recently allowed their citizens to have cell phones, who is going to own that system when it's all over and exactly how does Cuba expect to give it away free? How can any country give it away free, the system costs money, so does the equipment for the user.
Yet, ALBA, The Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas is now calling it a right amongst other things; "Basic education, health, water, energy, and telecommunications services should be declared human rights and cannot be subject to private deal or marketed by the World Trade Organization.
These services are and should be essentially public utilities of universal access.
" Notice "water" gee is that Evo Morales speaking after nationalizing all the infrastructure that Bechtel built for the nation, and Bolivia stole? Also look at the word "energy" well we all know that nations that provide free energy, have very spotty service, and we also know how untrustworthy socialist nations when it comes to nationalizing infrastructure assets from foreign investment.
Isn't this all just a license to steal? Why did Obama meet with ALBA and give them credibility to continue their theft? Answer me that?
