How to Repair a Font

    • 1). Click "Start" and go to "My Computer."

    • 2). Double-click "C:" then click the "Windows" folder. Choose "View the contents of this folder" if Windows warns you about browsing the Windows folder. Double-click the "Fonts" folder.

    • 3). Right-click the problematic font and choose "Delete." Click "Yes" to confirm deletion.

    • 4). Click "File" and choose "Install New Font." Make sure the "Copy Font to Folder" box is marked. Browse to the font file location and click "OK." The installation that follows should eliminate any problems with the font.
