How to Play Videos on an iPod Nano

    • 1). Turn on your iPod Nano and choose Videos. Browse for the video you want to play and select it. Press "Play" to begin playback. If you previously recorded the video, choose "Camera Videos" and select the video to play. Press "Play."

    • 2). Turn the iPod horizontally to stream the video in wide-screen format. Rotate it vertically to play back videos in portraiture format.

    • 3). For TV viewing, choose the Videos option and select "Settings." Set TV Out to "Ask" or "ON" to enable streaming onto your TV. Select the format (Widescreen or Fullscreen) to play back the video. Select the TV signal (NTSC or PAL) for the region you are in. Refer to your TV's operating manual if you are unsure of the right TV signal.

    • 4). Connect the iPod to AC power and connect the 30-inch connector of the Component cable on the iPod. Plug the green, blue and red connectors into the input ports on your TV. The input ports are colored coded so that you plug the connectors into the right inputs.

    • 5). Connect red and white audio connectors into the audio input ports on the TV. These inputs are also color coded.

    • 6). Turn on your TV and select the right input channel to play back videos. This may vary depending on your TV model; therefore refer to your TV's documentation.

    • 7). Choose videos on your iPod Nano and select the video you want to play. Press "Play" to begin the playback. The video begins streaming onto your TV.
