How to Get a BIOS Version From a Command Line

    • 1). Click "Start," select "All Programs" and choose "Accessories."

    • 2). Click "Command Prompt" to open the command line program.

    • 3). Type "systeminfo" into the command prompt and then press "Enter."

    • 4). Look for the "BIOS Version" section in the results that are displayed. The BIOS version of your computer will be displayed.
