How to Download Songs & Games on an Apple iPod

    Downloading Music

    • 1). Tap the "iTunes" icon on your iPod's home screen. It will be a purple icon with music notes on it, and "iTunes" displayed below it.

    • 2). Click "Search" to search for songs. Click "Music" to find music by new releases or based on various top 10 lists, including the top 10 most downloaded on iTunes.

    • 3). Tap on a song to hear a sample of the music. If you want to purchase that song, tap the price. The price will transform into a green button that says "Buy Now." Tap it again to initiate the download. Once the download is complete, the song will be available to listen to on your iPod.

    Downloading Games

    • 1). Tap the blue "App Store" icon on your home screen.

    • 2). Select "Categories" on the bottom of the screen, and select "Games" from the available categories. From here, you can browse the most popular paid and free games available. You can also search for games, if you have a specific title you're looking for.

    • 3). Tap the game that you want to download to go to the information screen. Tap the price in the upper right corner, and click it again after it turns to the "Buy Now" icon. This will initiate the download and take you back to the home screen while the game installs.

    • 4). Tap the newly installed game to begin playing.
