How to Correct a DNS Error

    • 1). Click the "Start" button and select "Run." For Windows 7, type "run" without the quotes in the search bar that appears at the very bottom of the Start menu.

    • 2). Type "CMD" without the quotes and press "Enter." This will open a new window with a command line waiting for your prompt.

    • 3). Type without the quotes "netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt" and hit "Enter."

    • 4). Let Windows reset your IP. Close the command prompt window.

    • 5). Restart your computer.
