How to Troubleshoot the Nike iPod Sensor
- 1). Remove the Nike + iPod sensor from the iPod's dock, and push the center button on the sensor for three seconds using the ballpoint pen.
- 2). Release the button, and push the ballpoint end of the pen on the sensor's button for one to two seconds.
- 3). Plug the sensor into your iPod and wait for the iPod to detect the device.
- 4). Remove the sensor and insert it into the insole of your Nike shoe.
- 5). Run or walk to activate the sensor.
- 6). Take the sensor to your local Apple store for repair if it continues to be unresponsive or displays a low-battery message.
