How to Make a Mini Air Cooler

- 1). Remove the fan from its box and put it on its back with the front facing upwards. You will work with the fan in this position until your air cooler is complete.
- 2). Coil your copper tubing around the fan. Use a zip tie to attach the tubing to the fan grate for every 6 inches of tubing you use. This will be your heat-exchange system.
- 3). Attach vinyl tubing to the feed-end of the copper. Connect the vinyl tubing to your aquarium pump.
- 4). Cut the vinyl tubing in half and connect what's left to the return line of the pump. Clamp the vinyl and copper tubing together, using hose clamps and lead them into the water cooler. This allows the cold water to flow to and from the water cooler.
- 5). Fill the water cooler with ice and water and plug in the pump. Wait for five minutes while the ice and water cool the heat-exchange system. Place the fan right side up and turn it on. You now have cool air blown into your room from the tubing of the fan.
