- 1). Measure and cut a 2 x 2 inch square of card stock. Write your name, address and phone number on one side of the square with a fine-tip black permanent marker. Leave 1/4-inch between the edges of the square and the written information.
- 2). Measure and cut two, 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch squares from the laminating sheet. Laminate the square of card stock between the two squares by placing one square sticky side down on the front of the card stock and the other stick side down on the back of the card stock. There is a 1/4-inch border of laminate around the card stock square.
- 3). Use a stencil to trace, or freehand, a shape that is at least 3 inches square on a piece of felt folded in half with your disappearing ink fabric marker. Cut the shape out through both layers of felt.
- 4). Measure, mark and cut a 1 ¾ x 1 3/4 inch square in the middle of one of the felt shapes.
- 5). Place the laminated square of card stock between the two pieces of felt with your information showing through the 1 3/4-inch square window you cut. Hot glue the two shapes together.
- 6). Measure and cut a 10-inch long piece of 1/4-inch wide ribbon. Snip a small slit in the top of your luggage tag that is roughly half an inch long. Thread one end of the ribbon through the slit. Bring the ends of the ribbon together and knot them.
- 7). Thread the knotted end of the ribbon through the handle of your bag or luggage. Feed the tag through the loop of ribbon and pull it tight.
