Making Napkin Rings for Thanksgiving

    • 1). Use a flat-headed paintbrush to apply yellow paint to both sides of a small wooden craft spoon. Paint two more spoons red, and two more spoons blue. Allow the paint to dry.

    • 2). Cut a two-inch section of an empty paper towel roll with a pair of scissors. Paint the entire ring brown. This is the body of your turkey.

    • 3). Attach the yellow spoon, large end pointing upwards, to the brown ring using some craft glue. This will serve as the head and neck of your turkey. Allow the glue to dry.

    • 4). Glue the red and blue spoons, alternating the colors, pointing upwards on the opposite end of the yellow spoon on the brown ring. The red and blue spoons will act as the tailfeathers to the yellow turkey body. Allow the glue to dry.

    • 5). Cut a small raindrop shape from a piece of red felt. This will act at as the turkey's wattle. Glue it to the yellow spoon.

    • 6). Draw two small eyes with a black marker over the wattle.

    • 7). Slide the ring over a rolled napkin, centering it and letting the turkey sit upright.
