• Many off-the-shelf embroidery designs are available for every currently manufactured embroidery machine. Popular choices include pre-designed monograms, allover floral patterns for embellishing clothing and household linens, and patterns with licensed popular characters.
  
  

Stitch Types

• Programs are available to capitalize on the different stitch capabilities. For instance, cross-stitch designs are available to use many high-end machines' cross-stitch capabilities. If a machine can produce a given stitch, programs exist to produce pre-designed patterns, or digitized patterns, using that stitch.
