How to Make Your Own Hidden Picture Puzzle
Things You'll Need
Instructions
1Pick a theme for your hidden picture puzzle, and then create a background. For example, if you want to base your puzzle on a dog park, start by creating a park scene. Using graph paper will help you keep everything in proportion.
2
Add characters to your picture. A dog park would have some dogs, the owners that are walking the dogs, and maybe even a few squirrels. Be creative.
3
Make a list of objects that you are going to hide in the picture. Make sure you draw a picture of the object next to the name of it. Give the list to your child when you are finished so that she has an idea of what to look for.
4
Place the objects from your list in to the picture. Try to make the object match the part of the picture it is in, so that the child really has to look for it. For example, you might place an oval-shaped ball in the leaves of a tree because leaves also can be oval in shape.
5
Make copies of the hidden picture puzzle if you have more than one child. Then let them work on finding the hidden pictures.
