How to Uninstall an Evidence Eliminator

    • 1). Right-click the Evidence Eliminator icon in the bottom-right corner of the desktop, and then click "Exit." The Evidence Eliminator icon consists of a superimposed blue "E" and black "E."

    • 2). Click the "Start" button, and then click "Control Panel."

    • 3). Click "Uninstall a Program" or double-click "Programs and Features" if your computer runs Windows Vista or Windows 7, respectively. Double-click "Add or Remove Programs" if your computer runs Windows XP.

    • 4). Click "Evidence Eliminator," and then click the "Change/Remove" or "Uninstall" button. The Evidence Eliminator uninstall wizard appears.

    • 5). Click the radio button labeled "Automatic," and then click "Next."

    • 6). Click "Finish" to begin removing Evidence Eliminator from the computer. Click "Yes to All" if Windows displays a message asking if you would like to remove a shared library file that no other programs use.

    • 7). Click the "OK" button to restart the computer after Evidence Eliminator is finished being uninstalled. The removal process is complete after you restart your computer.
