New Legislation Authorizes FEMA Camps

The National Emergency Centers Act (or HR 645) was recently introduced to The United States Congress.
This bill specifically calls for "national emergency centers" for "temporary housing, medical, and humanitarian assistance to individuals and families dislocated due to an emergency or major disaster.
" It continues to say that these camps are to "provide centralized locations to improve the coordination of preparedness, response, and recovery efforts of government, private, and not-for-profit entities and faith-based organizations.
" And that's all fine and good..
but the part of the Bill that should be of concern is the part which states that it will also "meet other appropriate needs, as determined by the Secretary of Homeland Security.
" This leaves it too wide open, in my humble opinion.
They say these camps are to be used for reasons they say would help protect us, but you only need to observe the camps themselves.
The most distressing observation is that there is barbed wire at the top of all the fences..
and it's facing the wrong direction.
It's facing inward.
To keep people in..
not keep them out.
Same goes with the prison bars..
how is that supposed to protect people? It's my opinion that these camps are going to be for much more than simply helping people in times of need.
Why all the military setup? What's the Air Force doing there? Does something like this really cost millions of dollars? Why all the prison bars? Why the barbed wire fences with the barbed wire facing inward? Bottom line, these camps aren't here to help us - they're prisons.
Seems to me they'd be just perfect for rounding us up when the dollar collapses and the riots begin.
Oh I know, I'm being paranoid..
it's a healthy thing to be these days.
But really, why the bars and barbed wire?
