SOCH Program for Adult Education and AIDS Awareness
The Environment Education Women & Child Development Society (EEWCDS) providing an integrated education system through SOCH. To fight with one of the biggest health issue i.e. the HIV AIDS, the SOCH is running programs for adult education and AIDS awareness. This integrated education system not only providing a normal adult education but also continuously involve in it and also conducting various AIDS awareness programs.
Most of us treated ourselves as intelligent and socially aware persons. But, one of the biggest regrettable things in our society is the social stigma against AIDS awareness and adult education. Most of us basically thought that such programs shouldn't be there for children. But the fact is that, it is badly essential for children as their minds are going through the development process. In order to overcome this situation, SOCH is running this integrated education system on adult education and AIDS awareness.
Adult Education:
One of the major drawbacks in India is, we simply adopt democracy without preparing a strong ground for it. To prepare a strong ground is possible through a perfect education system. As we mention earlier, our society in most of the cases is not allowing the adult education. The prime reason behind this is, our people are not aware of its significance.
The SOCH is providing the education on Adult to groups of children in order to make them socially aware. People in the sense, doesn't only implies to the public living in the urban areas but also to the population which resides in the rural area too. A proper planning should be implemented so that the reason and impact of adult education should reach to its root level.
AIDS Awareness:
The negative part of AIDS is, it is one of the deadliest disease and the worst is the human mentality against it. Normally people never accept AIDS patient as a part of their society. There are also a number of cases in which the AIDS patients are discriminated from others. As a human being, the best thing we can do is to promote AIDS awareness. When it comes to the awareness of AIDS, you do not have to be someone that is suffering from it in order to get involved. The more children and adults know about the disease the better the chance is that they will not contract it or spread it to others. With the AIDS awareness, the SOCH is regularly conducting different program to educate more and more people about AIDS.
