How to Enable Disk Use on the iTouch
- 1). Insert the USB cable into your iPod's bottom dock. Insert the other end of the cable into an open USB port on your computer.
- 2). Open the iTunes media player. Click the "X" button if iTunes tries to synchronize your device automatically.
- 3). Click your iPod's icon in the left panel of the application. Click the "Summary" tab.
- 4). Check the box next to "Enable Disk Use." The iPod can now be used a portable storage device similar to a USB flash drive.
