How to Install Fishing Line Guides
- 1). Remove the old line guide from the rod. Unwind the old thread that held the old line guide in place.
- 2). Place the new line guide in the same position as the old one.
- 3). Wrap the thread around the fishing rod and the bottom of the line guide. Cut the thread once you have added enough to keep the guide in place.
- 4). Ensure the guide lines up with the rest of the line guides on the fishing rod.
- 5). Coat the thread with fingernail polish and allow it to harden.
