Why Egg Whites Protein Is Old School: New Evidence Suggests Whole Eggs Are Best For Muscle

If you are a bodybuilder then you will no doubt be aware of the incredible nutritional value of the humble egg.
Egg whites protein is amazing for muscle growth.
With each of the little beauties containing as much as 9 grams of high quality protein and low levels of fat, they have long remained as a staple intake for anybody who is even half serious about packing on muscle mass.
The great thing about egg whites protein is that they contain a full spectrum of the important amino acids vital to muscle growth.
Plus, they are cost effective.
Considering the average Bodybuilder consumes up to three grams of protein per pound of bodyweight - ever single day, more expensive options soon add up.
Yes, it is in fact fair to call an Egg natures wonder food.
The only thing that has previously tarnished Eggs already excellent (see, I refrained from the obvious joke there) reputation, is that they are known to contain relatively high levels of cholesterol.
Well, that is if you consume egg whites protein anyway.
Now, everybody knows that an intake of too much cholesterol can cause health complications.
That is the predominant reason that bodybuilders choose to consume egg whites protein rather than include the yolks.
However, scientists have recently shed some good news that will no doubt encourage more and more people to become eggstatic.
(Sorry, I couldn't resist.
) It turns out that Eggs actually contain far lower levels of cholesterol than previously thought.
Why is this? Well, its not because the scientists previously overestimated the amounts, it is actually to do with modern farming methods.
In particular the type of feed that the average Chicken is now fed on.
Ten years ago the average battery hens diet was terrible.
Actually containing 13 per cent more cholesterol ten years ago than they do today! So egg whites protein no longer has to be your exclusive protein source when eating eggs.
You can happily say goodbye to all that messy yolk removal that is bound to go everywhere! They also contain an absolutely gargantuan 64% more Vitamin D than they used to and have now cemented themselves as one of the all round healthiest foods that you can choose to consume: Specifically if you are looking to increase all round promotion of lean, quality muscle.
Of course, as with any Bodybuilding Diet, variation is still key, as is appropriate degrees of rest and recuperation.
It goes without saying that you should also follow a strict workout regime in order to see maximum advancement.
A medium sized egg in Britain now only contains 100mg of cholesterol, merely a third of the recommended max daily intake.
