How to Add a Desktop Shortcut to the Task Bar
- 1). Locate the icon of your program on the desktop that you want to add to the taskbar.
- 2). Click your program's icon and drag it from the desktop to the quick launch toolbar located on the task manager. The quick launch toolbar is located on the far left on the taskbar.
- 3). Right-click the taskbar if you do not see the quick launch toolbar. Select "Toolbars" and click "Quick Launch." You should now see the Quick Launch toolbar on the taskbar.
