How to Change a Yukon Cabin Air Filter

    • 1). Remove the cabin air filter panel, which is under the instrument panel on the front passenger side. Usually three to five screws hold it in place.

    • 2). Remove the screw that secures the access door and then remove the door itself. The door is about two inches wide and secured in place with one screw.

    • 3). Pull down the air filter(s), noting what direction they are facing (cabin air filters can be designed for installation in a certain direction). Check the new air filter, as it may be marked for installation direction.

    • 4). Reverse procedure to install.
