You often hear people in the holistic movement talk about energy.
They might say, 'I like the energy there' or 'the energy here is heavy'.
Energy is a word which does not mean very much.
You could say that everything is energy and it is.
But what kind of energy? The word is vague and nebulous.
Certainly, energy is information, waves of information.
You could say that us humans are threefold.
Everything we do draws upon one of three aspects.
When we want to do something,say for example, bake bread; it first starts as an idea.
Then we have got to have the desire to make the bread.
Our heart and desire get involved.
Finally, we gather the ingredients together and start the process of baking.
Action- the will.
So we are thinking, feeling and acting beings.
We have a heart, mind and will.
When we talk about energy we must be aware of the difference between vibrations, emanations and radiations.
The Mind radiates.
Its energy moves in straight lines.
(We talk about a one pointed mind.
) The Heart emanates in circular waves.
The heart knows how to circulate with warmth.
The will vibrates up and down, right and left, front and back.
It is said that God is all-knowing, all-powerful and everywhere-present.
Omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent.
According to the law of correspondences the will is omnipotent, the heart is omnipresent and the mind is omniscient.
The light of the sun can only enter our room if its journey is not blocked or obstructed.
Light travels in straight lines.
Radiations.
The warmth of the sun is linked to the heart.
It can penetrate buildings with its warmth.
Emanations.
And the life aspect of the sun is linked to the will.
It gives life, vitality.
Vibrations.
So as the wise ones said: 'Know Thyself'.
We can only get to know ourselves once we becomes aware of when we are radiating, when emanating and when vibrating.
