How to Close a Hole in a Pillow

    • 1). Fold in the edges of the sides of the hole in your pillow to leave a straight edge on either side of the opening.

    • 2). Thread the cotton through the eye of your needle.

    • 3). Tie a knot in the end of the cotton.

    • 4). Push the needle through the side of the hole at one end of the opening so the knot you tied rests inside the hole with the pillow's stuffing.

    • 5). Push the two sides of the opening together.

    • 6). Insert the needle through one of the sides of the hole, and then through the other. Then, bring the needle over the opening and repeat the process until you seal the hole.

    • 7). Push the needle through the two sides of the sealed hole one more time, but leave a loop of cotton sticking out of the joined area as opposed to pulling it taut.

    • 8). Run the needle through the loop twice and pull it tight. Then, push the needle through the sealed hole deep into the body of the cushion and out of the pillow well away from the joined area.

    • 9). Cut the cotton where it exits the pillow.
