How to Make a Bubble Rocket
- 1). Turn the sheet of paper lengthwise and fold in half. Tear or cut on the crease. On the top half, cut out a circle, about 5 inches in diameter, and four right triangles, all roughly the same size.
- 2). Tape the film canister (with the lid intact) to the short edge on the other sheet. The lid should be lined up with the bottom edge of the paper. Roll the paper around the canister and tape to secure.
- 3). Cut a pie piece from the circle and roll the shape into a rocket tip. Attach to the top of the paper roll with tape. Also, arrange and tape the fins at the bottom of the paper roll.
- 4). Open the lid from the canister and fill with 1 tbsp. water. Drop 1/2 of a tablet into the canister and replace the lid.
- 5). Put on eye goggles and stand back. The rocket will launch shortly.
