How To Make a Quilt Poster
- 1). Cut out a rectangle from an old quilt using scissors to measure 26 inches wide and 50 inches long.
- 2). Lay the quilt section vertically onto a table top with the quilted side facing down.
- 3). Place a 24-inch-wide, 48-inch-long cork board on top of the quilt section, lining up the edges evenly so each quilted side overhangs by 1 inch.
- 4). Fold the top edge of fabric over the cork board. Staple along the back using a staple gun to hold the overhanging fabric in place.
- 5). Fold the bottom edge of fabric up over the cork board, pulling the fabric taut. Staple along the back using a staple gun to hold the overhanging fabric in place.
- 6). Fold the right edge of fabric over the cork board; staple the fabric in place as before.
- 7). Fold the left edge of fabric over the cork board, pulling it taut. Staple the fabric in place as before.
- 8). Cut a piece of heavy-gauge craft wire using wire cutters to measure 30 inches long.
- 9). Arrange the wire so it lays horizontally across the center of the cork board. Staple the ends onto either side of the board using a staple gun. This enables you to hang up the quilt poster by the wire.
