How to Make Your Own Laptop Vinyls
- 1). Measure the size of your laptop's lid with measuring tape or a ruler. In your graphic design software, click on "File" and then "Page Setup." Adjust the "Paper Size" settings to match the size of your laptop's lid.
- 2). Design your laptop's vinyl either by downloading graphics online or by making your own in the graphic design software. Make sure to save your design once you are satisfied with it.
- 3). Remove any plain paper from your printer. Place a single vinyl decal sheet in the paper feed tray.
- 4). Print the decal. Wait at least 5 minutes before touching the printed vinyl sheet.
- 5). Clean off the laptop's lid with a microfiber cloth. Remove the backing paper on the vinyl sheet and press it firmly against the laptop's lid.
