Weil-McLein is a U.S.-based company headquartered in Michigan City, Indiana. The company has manufacturing plants in Michigan City, Indiana and Eden, North Carolina. Buderus is headquartered in Londonderry, New Hampsire, and is a subsidiary of Buderus Heiztechnik of Germany.

Construction


Weil-McLein oil fueled heaters are manufactured from cast iron, including a cast iron heat exchanger. Buderus heaters are manufactured from cast iron with a stainless steel heat exchanger for heating water.

Energy


Oil-fueled Weil-McLain Ultra, WGO, WTGO and SGO heaters are created with energy efficiency ratings of between 80 and 90 percent. The Buderus Logano G125BE was created with an efficiency rating of at least 91 percent.
