- 1). Pull out the power unit, water basin, hoses and attachments from storage.
- 2). Fill the water basin until the water level reaches just above the center dome. Set the water basin, which should connect to the rolling doll, on the ground. Rainbow vacuums differ from other vacuum brands because debris collects in the water instead of a bag or canister.
- 3). Position the power unit on top of the water basin so the air intake opening and the air inlet -- where you will connect the hose -- align with each other.
- 4). Engage both latches on the power unit; this connects the power unit to the water basin.
- 5). Connect the hose coupling to the air intake opening; twist it in place until you hear a "click" sound.
- 6). Attach the any additional hose extensions or attachments to the hose.
- 7). Unwind the cord, which should be stored around the attachment caddy on the power unit, and plug into the wall.
- 8). Press the "on" button to power up the vacuum, and vacuum as normal.
