Start with a plain gift bag.red paper bag isolated over white background image by Anatoly Tiplyashin from Fotolia.com
Get a plain gift bag in a color the recipient likes. Buy a bag that is twice the size of the gift. - 2). Buy alphabet stickers in a font you like to put the recipient's name on the front of the bag. Apply the letters of his name on the bag in any direction. If it's for mom, dad, sis, grandpa or nana, put those letters on the bag.

Foam die-cuts can be found at craft stores.fish image by Dubravko Grakalic from Fotolia.com
Get stickers and a package of die-cut shapes in a subject the recipient likes. Let's say this bag is for a little boy that loves dinosaurs. His name is on the bag---now put dinosaur stickers all over the bag. Or, for an adult that loves to fish, put fish stickers all over a blue or green bag. Glue on some fish die-cuts to add to the bag's decor.
To create a 2-D effect, put two 1/4-inch drops of silicone on either end of the die-cut fish and put another fish on to the drops of silicone. Do not mash. - 4). Glue colored glass beads randomly in between the stickers and die-cuts.
