How to Uninstall Speech in XP
- 1). Click the "Start" menu and choose "Control Panel."
- 2). Click the "Switch to Classic View" link on the left side of the window, if necessary, then double-click the "Regional and Language Options" icon.
- 3). Click the "Languages" tab, then click the "Details" button.
- 4). Click "Speech Recognition" under the active language heading to select it. Click the "Remove" button to uninstall speech recognition.
- 5). Click the "Apply" button to confirm changes.
