Windows Drivers Recovery

    Recovery Console

    • Use the Recovery Console to replace drivers. Start your Windows-based machine and when asked to choose the operating system, chose the Recovery Console. The menu-driven interface will guide you in copying the driver file to replace from your Windows CD.

    Device Manager

    • The Device Manager will show a black exclamation point next to a device, which indicates that that device is in a problem state. You can update device drivers from within your Device Manager.

    Manufacturer Disk

    • You can reinstall drivers from the original driver CD that came with your device. The reinstallation can be carried out by the use of the Device Manager or from reinstalling your device.
