How to Make Bracelets With Two Colors of Soda Tabs
- 1). Sort 30 soda tabs by color so that you have two piles of 15 tabs each.
- 2). Cut a 36-inch piece of elastic cord or thin ribbon in half.
- 3). Position two tabs of the same color side by side, face up, with the smaller holes at the top.
- 4). Thread one piece of the cord through the back of the top hole of the tab on the left. Slide it through the bottom hole of the right tab and out the back. Pull the cord so that it crosses over the middle of the two tabs in the center of the cord.
- 5). Thread the other piece of cord through the back of the top hole in the right tab. Insert it through the bottom hole of the left tab. Slide this one through until it reaches the middle, as you did with the first cord; you will make an "X" shape with the two pieces of cord that cross over the middle of the tabs.
- 6). Hold the cords and the two tabs carefully as you flip the bracelet over. Place a tab of a different color face up in the middle of the back of the two tabs; keep the two bottom tabs close together.
- 7). Thread the two cords at the top of the tabs through the smaller hole. Slide the two cords on the bottom through the larger hole. Straighten the cords out from where they are.
- 8). Place a tab of the same color as the one on the top on each side of the tab, with the smooth sides facing up. Weave the cords horizontally through the top and bottom holes. Flip the bracelet over.
- 9). Add a tab of the same color as the one on the top side of the bracelet, so that the smooth side is facing up. Thread the cords through the top and bottom holes, as you did with the first two tabs you threaded, so that the cords cross in the center of the two tabs.

Flip the bracelet over. Add two more tabs on each side by threading the cords straight through the holes; this side of the tabs will be on the inside of the bracelet. - 11
Turn the bracelet over and add another tab to the outside of the bracelet by making an "X" shape with the cords. - 12
Finish adding the remaining tabs. Flip the bracelet over as you add tabs to each side. Tie the cords together -- top with top and bottom with bottom -- in a tight knot, with the tabs held closely together so they cannot slide apart. - 13
Wear the bracelet with the crossed cords facing out.
