How to Synchronize a Mac to iTunes
- 1). Connect the device to the Mac computer using the device's USB cable. iTunes will automatically open. In the left side bar, under Devices, select your device by clicking on it.
- 2). Click the tabs in the main window to select the items you wish to sync, i.e., Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, iTunes U, Books, Photos, Contacts and Games.
- 3). Click "Sync" and wait for the synchronization to begin. Depending on size of the music and data files, syncs can take from several minutes to an hour.
