Bihar Towns Reel In Coldest Yet Temperatures
India is a country, with varying extreme weather conditions depending on the presence of the geographical area of north of the globe distance from the equator. The northern sphere of the globe faces extreme cold conditions during the last weeks of December and beginning till end of January. Mountains are covered by heavy snow, the plain of North India experience of cold wave and temperature drops. Bihar is no exception to receive these cold winds and experience extreme cold weather. The living condition and economic conditions of common men in rural & urban area; hence they are worst affected in every extreme conditions. Daily wage earners and running their family household needs. The daily wage earners and those who sell usable items door to door also get poor response from customer. There is daily movement of workers from their homes on bicycle to their working area and provide comfort to their masters.
The homeless spend night under the sky, wearing whatever clothes they have. They eat the leftovers. Although administrator arrange wood for fire at night to give some relief, but that is so inadequate to give warmth to the large number of homeless around.
As per Bihar news the temperature has fallen to 1.1 degree Celsius in the capital city of Patna. Looking into current cold conditions the schools in Patna have been closed and the closure may be extended further. The bone-chilling winds from the North-West are likely to continue further for a few more days. Latest Bihar News states that there is no official confirmation from the Government and have not yet confirmed the deaths number due to extreme cold conditions, but other sources say that over 50 people died in last three days. The weather conditions can't change immediately however such conditions would be repeated in years to come. The technocrats and administrators give a serious interaction and arrive at an action plan to manage these kinds of situations. We feel proud to be a country having a very large number of youths in the world. Why don't we channelize this young human resource? We need sensitive dedicated leadership at different level to society who collect wood, woolens, blankets and medicines for those who are fighting with cold. Every time we blame the administration. Local leaderships can join their heads together and make an action plan. A true sensitivity needs to be generated to help and don't think in selfish mode. The five elements of the planet (Earth, Water, Air, Fire & Ether) are there in all living beings. We have relationship as we have grown from the same elements. We treat them with equality. We have to co-exist.
