Ultrasound Journal

• Preserve the memories of pregnancy by creating a scrapbook page for each ultrasound. Choose a background that has a baby theme, such as blue or pink baby paper, or just add some embellishments such as paper baby bottles, which can be purchased at your scrapping or hobby store. Adhere the ultrasound picture to the top or bottom of the page and write a journal entry for that day. Note how you felt when you saw the baby on the ultrasound screen and what the doctor said. These will be fun to look back on and share with the child when he or she is older.
  
  

Photos of Mom

• Include photos of the mom-to-be at the time of the ultrasounds. This will be a record of her in various stages of pregnancy. Start with a baby themed scrapbook paper and décor that will enhance the page. Placing the ultrasound photo and the photo of the mother next to each other will show the growth of the baby and the growth of the mom as the pregnancy progresses. Children might find this exciting as they can see the changes that their growth caused in their moms.
  
  

It's a Boy or Girl

• Parents can learn the gender of the baby from an ultrasound. Keep the ultrasound photo from that appointment and highlight that experience in a scrapbook. Buy stickers, papers, die-cuts or stamps that read, "It's a Girl" or "It's a Boy." Use blue or pink papers and stick on items that will help you commemorate the day you learned you would be having a son or a daughter.
