How to Get Super Glue Off of a Head

    • 1). Start with a mild solution of soapy water before using harsher products. Thoroughly combine two drops of liquid hand soap with one cup of clean, warm water in a bowl or container.

    • 2). Moisten a washcloth in the warm, soapy water. Gently rub the sudsy washcloth over the sticky skin to remove the Super Glue.

    • 3). Rinse the skin thoroughly with fresh water.

    • 4). Examine the skin for lingering Super Glue. If the soapy water was unsuccessful, rub petroleum jelly liberally into the Super Glue for three minutes.

    • 5). Rinse the skin thoroughly with fresh water.

    • 6). Inspect your face for stubborn Super Glue residue. If any Super Glue still remains adhered to your skin, proceed to the last resort -- acetone. Dip a cotton swab in acetone and gently roll the moist swab over the Super Glue.

    • 7). Flush the skin thoroughly with fresh water.
