Easy Hot-Roller Hair Styles

    Curling Your Hair

    • Never try to style your hair with hot rollers while the hair is wet. Dry your hair, then spritz it all over with hair spray or holding gel before rolling. For maximum volume, make sure you roll all the way to the crown. Wait until the rollers have cooled before taking them out.

    Parting on the Side

    • Parting your hair to the side makes thin hair appear much more voluminous. After you have curled your hair, comb it to one side, brushing it very lightly. Use a curling iron to go over any strands of hair that have fallen out.

    Parting in the Middle

    • Parting your hair in the middle is always classic and in style. You can leave it down or secure half of it with a small claw or bobby pins. Other variations include making a bun with the top half or making two small braids that start at your temples and are secured at the back of your head.

    Wearing Your Hair Up

    • Even though you've just curled your hair, that doesn't mean you have to wear it down. You can put it in a pony tail and let the curls hang free, or you can twist it into a bun, leaving the ends free to surround your face with gentle curls.
