How to Fix the Windows Error Code 19 in Windows Vista
- 1). Click on the "Start" button and then enter "regedit" into the "Search" text box. Press the "Enter" key on your keyboard and the Registry Editor window will appear.
- 2). Click on the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" folder from the right side of the window. Click on the "SYSTEM" folder.
- 3). Click on "CurrentControlSet" folder and the click on the "Control" folder. Click on the "Class" folder and then click on the "4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318" folder.
- 4). Right-click on the "Upperfilters" entry and then click on the "Delete" option. Right-click on the "Lowerfilters" entry and then click on the "Delete" option.
- 5). Close out of the Registry Editor window and restart your computer. The error code 19 will no longer appear.
