ATF Fast & Furious: Discover The Shocking Facts Behind Eric Holder Contempt of Congress
The United States Attorney General, Eric Holder Jr., faces contempt of Congress for declining to pass documents relevant to the unsuccessful ATF fast and furious operation. Under this operation a large amount of of guns were put in the hands Mexican drugs cartels by the US government. Due to this fact, a US agent and hundreds of Mexicans were murdered by these guns. The Democrats are intending to use one of their favorite weapons, the race card, to prevent the Republicans in the Congress from sorting out what exactly happened during the ATF fast and furious program. The race card is a variation of political correctness.
As I explain in my eBook, Portrait of a Liberal, political correctness is technique by which a group of people makes an attempt to force its ways and will on others by presenting itself as a target. In essence, political correctness is psychological bullying due to the fact it tries to force people to approve the opinions and point of views of a specific group therefore subduing any contrary opinion and making independent thought unacceptable. In this particular case, if you trust the majority of the Democrats, holding the United States Attorney General in contempt of Congress has nothing to do with the reality that, for 2 yrs, Mr. Holder and the Department Of Justice have refused to hand over the documents Congressional investigators have requested. It must be due to the fact that Republicans are racists. By branding Republicans as racists, the Democrats are in actuality planning to suppress the truth about an operation that ended in the loss of life of Border Patrol Agents Brian Terry. The White House has entered the fray when it invoked executive privilege over the documents that have been requested by the Congress. As such it provides, once again, the appearance that the administration is covering up its tracks to prevent the truth about who is liable for the unsuccessful ATF fast and furious operation come to light.
Looking at the big picture, political correctness is in all reality a brutal assault on democracy and freedom of speech purely because it minimizes the number of approved opinions we can have on a given issue. The fact is most issues have a number of opinions that individuals are willing to give thought to. Outside this number, viewpoints are rejected with no consideration. This rejection is normally validated on reasons of common sense, morality, or independent knowledge. For democracies to perform well, they have to be constructed on the widest possible range of viewpoints, delivery of information, and facts to ensure the people can have the freest possible conversation of them and determine which ones are good and which ones are bad. Political correctness constricts the distribution of information. It forces people in general to agree with the viewpoints of the self-proclaimed victim group of people because failing to do so will upset them. As a result it undermines the democratic process.
While some in the White House and the Department of Justice are hiding underneath the phony charge of racism to prevent the truth about the ATF fast and furious program from being released, the facts remains that thousands of US guns ended in the hands Mexican drugs cartels and one of these guns was liable for the dead of a United States federal agent.
