Beaded Cuff Bracelet Tutorial

    • 1). File the edges of the cuff blank with a metal file if they appear sharp.

    • 2). Cut a strip of leather fabric two times larger and wider than the cuff blank.

    • 3). Glue the soft leather fabric onto the cuff blank with fabric glue, and cut off any excess fabric. Choose a leather color that coordinates with the beads you plan to use.

    • 4). Sew the seed beads onto a strip of stiff fabric with a nylon bead thread. Use a material like buckram for a stiff base. The material will need to be smaller than the leather so the leather will still show. Sew the beads on in a pattern, straight line or use your preferred design. Sew plenty of beads to hide the fabric.

    • 5). Glue the stiff fabric onto the leather with fabric glue. Allow the glue to dry completely.
