Use Electric Underfloor Heating to Keep Warm During Winters
People living in the regions which experience chilly winters cannot do without under floor heating.
It is humanly not possible.
Even science says that the temperature of the floor at home must be within twenty to twenty four degrees range.
In olden days people used to light fire using woods to keep their homes warm.
All the homes had fireplaces.
As time passed by these natural fireplaces were replaced by electric fireplaces which lighted up with the help of electricity.
These did not warm the house to the extent one wanted.
Therefore with the advancement of technology came electric underfloor heating.
These are centralized heating systems that can heat the whole floor uniformly.
There are two types of heaters.
One uses the principle of convection and the other uses the principle of radiation.
In convection the surrounding air is heated up and in radiation the floor is heated.
Blowers and the fireplaces use the convection principle while electric underfloor heating uses the principle of radiation.
The heaters based on the principles of radiation are technologically more advanced and better.
There are many types of electrical underfloor heating.
These are discussed below.
The only thing that is not good about these is that it is very difficult to get them repaired.
If anything goes wrong the whole floor will have to be removed.
But the manufacturers have made it in such a way that it requires very low maintenance.
And they have so much confidence on their product that they have even offered a life time guarantee.
So one can rely on these products and use it to stay warm all winter.

There are many types of electrical underfloor heating.
These are discussed below.
- Air type - Interconnected pipes are laid under the floor in all parts of the house.
The air which is heated with the help of a central radiator is circulated through these pipes.
But the problem with these heaters is that they cannot remain heated up till a long time.
Therefore it is not very convenient. - Water type - Here also same method of laying pipelines is followed but instead of air water is circulated throughout these pipelines.
There is a boiler in which the water is heated up.
In earlier times when these kinds of under the floor heating was invented; the water was heated up in a furnace situated outside the house.
The problem with these is that they form air bubbles which disrupt the flow of water and these air bubbles are very difficult to remove.
- Electric type - Here instead of pipelines coils are used to radiate the heat.
Electricity is passed through these coils which then get heated up.
These are faster and more convenient than any other system.
The only thing that is not good about these is that it is very difficult to get them repaired.
