How to Fix Broken Springs on a Trampoline
- 1). Remove the broken spring(s) from the trampoline. Take one broken spring to a retailer to match the broken spring with replacement springs.
- 2). Slide one end of each replacement spring into the brass eyelets located on the mat.
- 3). Put on leather work gloves to protect your hands.
- 4). Pull the replacement spring toward the trampoline frame. Slide the hook of the trampoline spring tool under the hook of the replacement spring. Stretch the replacement spring and slide the spring hook into the hole of the trampoline frame.
- 5). Remove the spring tool from the replacement spring. Inspect the springs around the replacement spring to ensure the springs are not loose. Replace all loose springs to keep proper tension on the trampoline mat.
