- 1). Wait the elapsed time to see if the dishwasher works. Most dishwashers must cycle through the interrupted cycle. Don't turn the dishwasher off, wait approximately an hour and note whether it comes on.
- 2). Push the reset button on the dishwasher. The reset button is also the "Start" button on most dishwashers.
- 3). Unplug the dishwasher if you decide you do not want to wait for the delay setting to take effect. Wait a minimum of 30 seconds for the memory to clear on the setting.
- 4). Plug the dishwasher back in and note if the setting has cleared. Set the dishwasher for normal use.
