How to Repair Scratches on Clear Coat Stainless Steel Appliances

- 1). Rub the scratched area utilizing the coarse side of a brown finishing pad, following the grain of the metal surface. You can use either an up/down or circular motion to rub the scratched area.
- 2). Turn the brown finishing pad over to the unused, fine side. Using the up/down or circular pattern, rub the fine side of the brown finishing pad over the scratched area until the scratches begin to fade. Do this with slight pressure as to not create more scratches in the surface.
- 3). Pour some stainless steel cleaner on a microfiber cloth until it is wet and rub the cloth over the previously scratched area, following the grain of the steel pattern, until the surface becomes shiny.
